Call of Duty: Cold War devs accidentally undo MP5 nerfs

November 20, 2020 Unconscious War's MP5 nerfs are gone – but Don River't worry, they'll be second again.

Everybody loves the MP5 in Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold-blooded War, except when they'rhenium on the opposite go with of it – then they hate the gun. Players have been career for nerfs to the SMG pretty much since launch, and the devs made some adjustments in a hotfix ahead of a larger balance patch. But now IT seems that patch up has undone the nerfs for now.

The nerf is supposed to reduce the MP5's base effective damage range past 33%, and to adjust recoil to arrive "more difficult to continue target by adjusting the trajectories of different bullets in the first firing off experience".

"These changes were accidentally reverted in today's update and will return in an upcoming update", the devs say in today's bandage notes. Oops! The full notes also include an set out of opposite equipoise changes, including nerfs to the FFAR1 and M16.

Antecedently, the devs had suggested that the Cold War balance changes would get along with the Season 1 start date in December, just it looks like we'Ra getting large changes much sooner.
